By default, student cannot open other programs or web pages at the same time, when Safe Exam Browser runs. Here you can also specify whether learners can access other programs or web addresses. You can use default settings specified here or change it. In here you can configure Safe Exam Browser manually. If SEB has enabled, students can only attempt the quiz using the Safe Exam Browser. If a quiz needs to be taken using the Safe Exam Browser, then SEB settings can be configured in the quiz settings under the 'Safe Exam Browser' section. SEB runs on a local computer and it is connected via the internet to a learning management system. It controls access to resources like system functions (CTRL+C or V, PrintScreen, etc), other websites and applications and prevents unauthorized resources being used during an exam.

The software turns your computer temporarily into a secure workstation. You will get the official result in a few hours to a few days.Safe Exam Browser is a web browser environment to carry out e-assessments safely. You should get your initial result pretty much right away.Once you are done, you may be asked to answer a few questions about the exam itself.

At the end, you can go back to all unanswered questions or questions marked for review or all questions that you are allowed to go back to.Read each question and all answers - in your mind - properly and completely, and answer only when you are confident of the answer.You will be able to go back to it - unless the question specifically mentions that you cannot go back to it. So if you are finding a particular question time consuming, don't answer. In most cases, you can review a question at the end before you exit the exam.No eating or drinking is allowed during the exam.

Concentrate on the exam and the exam only.If you do, a proctor may call you to warn you or, your exam may get revoked. Don't do anything that can be classed as suspicious. During the exam, DO NOT read any questions or answers aloud.Only once they are satisfied will they release the exam to you.

They may ask you to carry out additional actions. If not, a proctor will either call you through your computer or will open a chat window or both. All being well, the exam will start within 15 minutes.

Once you have submitted all these photographs, video and audio recording on your laptop will begin.

Once you are done taking photographs, put your mobile out of your reach - preferably, on silent.

After that, you will need to take photographs of back, front, left and right of your working area.

Your exam name needs to match the document exactly.

You will be then asked to photograph a government approved identity document like driving license or passport.

At the start of the exam, you will be asked to photograph yourself using your mobile.

Don't be wearing anything on your wrist.

There should not be any TVs or screens or any other computers or any other electronic devices nearby.

Definitely no remote control software like TeamViewer or AnyDesk.

Make sure NOTHING ELSE is running on your laptop.

Nothing behind or in front or on either side.

Lock your room and make sure no one will enter the room for the duration of your exam.

On the day of your exam, be ready at least half an hour before the scheduled time.

Especially, no TeamViewer or AnyDesk or anything like that.

During the initial test, make sure there is nothing else running on your laptop.

This initial test will tell you if your video, internet speed and microphone on your laptop are up to spec.

Once you have booked your exam, run a test on your machine.
